What terminal automation software does
A bulk liquid terminal is a sequence of controlled handoffs. A driver arrives with an order. Somebody has to confirm the driver is certified, the vehicle is approved, and the product and quantity match what was authorised. The rack has to deliver exactly that quantity and measure it accurately. And the movement has to end up in the ERP as a real financial transaction, with a Bill of Lading that stands up to audit.
Done manually, each of those handoffs is a place where a terminal loses time or money — misloads, unrecorded movements, gain-loss discrepancies, drivers waiting at the gate, and month-end reconciliation that takes days. Terminal automation software, often called a terminal automation system or TAS, closes those gaps by making the rack itself enforce the rules.

From rack to SAP, without custom ABAP
Automating the rack solves half the problem. The other half is that terminal activity has to become a posted transaction in the ERP — and for most operators that has historically meant custom ABAP code inside the SAP core, which is expensive to build and painful to carry through upgrades.
TLOAD pairs with TMW Cloud, which takes terminal documents and Bills of Lading, validates them, and posts them into SAP as finished business transactions.
